Why We Started LeanOnWe
People always want to know how we came up with the idea of LeanOnWe. Well, to make a bad pun, it was something that I literally fell into after being hit head-on while bicycling one autumn day in 2011.

When peacefulness turns hostile and when protests turn militant, we turn to the more than 1,000 home health aides, certified nurse aides, and other caretakers who are part of LeanOnWe’s network of private caregivers -- and we pause.
As cities across America put curfew orders in place to calm civil unrest, you’ll want to take immediate steps to ensure your private home health aide is not barred from traveling to and from work.

Dear LeanOnWe Families and Friends,
We are here to help.
With the turmoil, illness, and heartache resulting from coronavirus, we know you have concerns and questions, alarm and anxiety while trying to make the best care decisions for yourself and your loved ones.
As governments around the nation announce travel restrictions, curfews, and other lockdown measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, you’ll want to take immediate steps to ensure your private home health aide is not barred from traveling to work.
With so much coronavirus attention focused on the vulnerability of adults over 60, health experts worldwide are ramping up warnings that seniors are not the only ones at increased risk of contracting the Covid-19 disease.
As the Covid-19 disease spreads in communities throughout the United States, you’ll want to check in more regularly than usual to monitor the situation in your loved ones’ homes and in their communities.
With the potential for seniors over 65 to be at greater risk of the coronavirus, it’s important that families take the recommended precautions for themselves as well as their elderly loved ones.
